Volt is immediately hiring Welder in Clarksville, TN. As a Welder, you will be responsible for performing MIG and TIG welding on carbon steel and stainless-steel pipes. You will also be responsible for welding couplings onto pipes and assembling pipe sections through precision pipe-to-pipe welding. Additionally, you will carry out specialty welding tasks on spool pieces, pipes, and related components. You will be responsible for inspecting completed work for defects, alignment of fittings, and seam splits in pipe. You will also maintain a clean and safe welding station while conforming to safety and quality standards. You will report equipment malfunctions, safety issues, and repair needs promptly. You will read and interpret work instructions, general paperwork, and online training modules in Workday. You will use tape measures and basic measuring tools to verify product dimensions.
This is a full time, Contract opportunity. The ideal candidate will have 3–5 years of welding and fabrication background, work without training. You should have MIG and TIG welding experience in production or fabrication environments. You should be able to accurately read and use a tape measure.

Pay Rate: $25.00 - $27.00 per hour.
