Job Description

Environment Control is looking for a Warehouse Worker to join our team. This position works on the warehouse floor, sweeping and cleaning warehouse floor with push-machines.

The ideal candidate has experience working in an environment that can be cold and hot during different seasons. This person will need to be able to work safely and quickly, standing for long periods while fulfilling orders.

Responsibilities:

• Sweep, scrub, mop, and clean warehouse floors using manual tools and powered floor-cleaning equipment.
• Operate floor scrubbers, sweepers, and other cleaning machinery as needed.
• Remove dust, dirt, debris, and spills from warehouse aisles, walkways, and designated work areas.
• Maintain clean and safe floors to help prevent slips, trips, and falls.
• Place warning signs or barriers around wet floors and cleaning areas as needed.
• Empty trash containers and dispose of waste in designated areas.
• Inspect cleaning equipment before use and report any damage or maintenance needs.
• Follow all company safety procedures and proper chemical-handling guidelines.
• Maintain cleaning supplies and notify the supervisor when inventory is low.
• Perform additional cleaning and facility-maintenance duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Ability to perform physical tasks, including standing, walking, bending, and lifting as required.
• Ability to operate or learn to operate industrial floor-cleaning equipment.
• Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality.
• Previous warehouse or industrial cleaning experience is preferred but not required.
• Bilingual Spanish/English (REQUIRED)
