Job Summary – Blood Bank Supervisor (Transfusion Services) Full-Time Contract Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM Duration: 13 Weeks Location: Longview, Texas, 75601 Pay Range: $2,100 - $2,200 Weekly (40 Hours) We are seeking an experienced Blood Bank Supervisor to lead Transfusion Services operations in a fast-paced healthcare environment. This role requires strong leadership, regulatory compliance expertise, and extensive Blood Bank experience. Key Requirements: 5+ years of Blood Bank/Transfusion Services experience 5+ years of supervisory or lead experience in the Blood Bank department Strong knowledge of regulatory compliance (CLIA, CAP, AABB, TJC) MLS Certification (ASCP, AMT, AAB, or HEW/HHS) required SBB (Specialist in Blood Banking) preferred Experience with EPIC Beaker, SoftBank, and Ortho Vision preferred Strong communication and interpersonal skills Responsibilities: Supervise daily Blood Bank operations and staff Ensure compliance with regulatory standards Manage quality control, policies, procedures, and competency assessments Assist with hiring, training, scheduling, and performance evaluations Monitor testing accuracy and troubleshoot technical issues Maintain inventory, equipment, and documentation For workers in the United States, Pride Global and it's affiliates offers eligible employee’s comprehensive healthcare coverage (medical, dental, and vision plans), supplemental coverage (accident insurance, critical illness insurance and hospital indemnity), 401(k)-retirement savings, life & disability insurance, an employee assistance program, legal support, pet insurance and employee discounts with preferred vendors.
